WAUSAU – The 2020-2021 Greater Wausau Location Guide features the inaugural IRONBULL Red Granite Grinder on the cover.

140 mile racer, Jake Buescher, is featured on the cover carrying his bike over rocky terrain at Rib Mountain State Park. Buescher was the first person ever to ride his bike on trails at Rib Mountain State Park and winner of the 140 mile race. Buescher traveled from Illinois in 2019 to race the event.

Last year’s race brought bikes to trails at Rib Mountain State Park for the first time. This year’s race will include just the second time bikers are allowed on trails at Rib Mountain State Park.

The IRONBULL Red Granite Grinder will be held on October 17, 2020.  12, 50, 85, and 140 mile routes begin and end on the 400 Block in downtown Wausau.  Spectators are encouraged to send off riders, cheer them on the race course, and welcome them back to downtown Wausau.  All spectators, participants, and volunteers are to respect social distancing and wear masks on the 400 Block.  More details at: https://www.ironbull.org/red-granite-grinder-details
