course information

There are two routes - one is primarily on singletrack mountain bike trails (marked with pink ribbons) and the other is on ski trails (marked with green ribbons). The green course is 2.5 miles and the pink course is 1.8 miles.

There are a few wet spots noted on the map, you may want to choose the alternative route to avoid these areas and/or bring a change of shoes.

You are responsible to track your own time and submit it.

course Markings

The course is entirely marked; however, it is recommended to download a GPS data file or bring a map in case course marking are removed. The singletrack route is marked with pink ribbons and the ski route is marked with green ribbons. Both routes have all intersections signed with an arrow sign.

When you arrive at a checkpoint, you will see signs (see picture below for an example):

1) Checkpoint sign

2) Arrow sign with pink ribbon for the singletrack route

3) Arrow sign with green ribbon for the ski route (sometimes combined as one arrow sign with two arrows, one for each route)

You will choose which route (green or pink marked route) at each checkpoint.
